when i on the PC this morning, and saw the brand new Yahoo’s title design, i just smile yeah, the whole world is in the trend of recycle, even Yahoo…

well, i think it is a good sign, since everyone is more or less being educated about the “need” for recycle, we might just have save our earth from getting worse. well, but perhaps how many people really know the true meaning of “recycle”. well, honestly i don’t really know the whole facts, and may be I’m just like everyone else, I’m into the trend or so…

come to think of it, i think my grandma’s had done a pretty good job in recycling and all this eco-friendly thingy, how should i explain it… let see… she will save up the water from washing rice, then use it to clean the dirty dishes, or water the plant. while for washing laundry, the last rinse of water is always kept for the used of mopping the floor. i used to think… huh… she’s bit funny, but come to think of it, it really do save up something :p

and, she’ll encourage all the young kids to have cold shower, yes… cold shower, and bath is not allow :p hahaha… well, her ideas is to have us in better health, yea, then she has done another pretty job in saving the earth though and… there won’t be any waste dishes, every leftover dish will turn into another yummy new dish in the next day, yea, she’s creative! hahaha… and guess what, though my grandma passed away for a long time, my mom is still doing the same “stingy” thingy she was told… and now, mom would just say, hey, I’m not being stingy dear, see, I’m doing some eco-thingy :p hahaha…. yea, I’m honor that i have both great woman in my life, and now i know that’s why mom is so rich, hahaha, yea, because she hardly buy new things, all her new things are bought by me, and I’ll always get scolded, though i know she’s happy, well, and i do learn something, only get what you need now, not in the future, because we never know if we still need that when the time is here, it might turn into another clutters in our life.

and well, I’m now married to another “stingy” man, who always say the same thing as my mom :p well, i guess that’s why mom loves him so much. yea, and well, I’m happy to live in our ever so “eco-friendly” home :p hahaha…

i was diving into the not so interesting tv program last night, just by changing channel to channel, something awful just strike me, it cuts into my heart and i really feel the pain of it, so i wake up early today, just to gather some info, and well, if anyone read this, i hope, i don’t know, with just little help, we can really stop animal torturing or cruelty by not buying any of this related product, or not having fun riding an elephant in Thailand.

This issue of world documentary takes place in Thailand, and this kind hearted lady name Lek, following her footstep, i see the tragic truth behind the “elephant festival” in Thailand. I’m not skeptical about the festival, i believe the same issue happens in India or any 3rd world country, i pick Thailand because i love Bangkok, but i just can’t lay my eyes on something as awful as animal torturing!

according to an article that i read on web, in India, almost on a daily basis, you can see newspaper reports of elephants going mad and killing its “mahout” (A mahout is a person who drives an elephant.) some think that this happens because elephant is an aggressive animal. the truth is just opposite. elephant is one of the most peaceful animals you can find, then why all these tragedies?

The tragedy is that elephants endure untold torture and hardship. Many mahouts are drunkards and physically abuse elephants all the time. Also elephants are made to stand in a very noisy environment for long periods during religious festivals. What is amazing is the low level of human deaths in all these!

Elephants shouldn’t be made slaves, chained and paraded in religious festivals.

Nonetheless, similar issues happen in Thailand, Approximately 3,800 of the country’s estimated 5,000 endangered Asian elephants are in private hands. Most are used as tourist attractions in elephant camps where they are forced to perform circus tricks and give rides. PETA U.S. has uncovered the horrific torture that is routine in Thailand’s secret “training” camps. Still-nursing baby elephants are literally dragged from their mothers, kicking and screaming. They are immobilized, beaten mercilessly, and gouged with nails for days at a time. These ritualized “training” sessions leave the elephants badly injured, traumatized, or even dead.

i believe if tourist are not interested in watching the elephant tricks, slowly there will be less and less animals being forced and tortured to do some inhumanity tricks, and i don’t think that you’ll be smiling after watching the video that PETA film.

on one lazy afternoon, bunny and bear are just surfing pass the busy crowds in the woods, then by accident, or fate, they come across a  cute old boutique displaying some whimsical miscellaneous items. some are from our grandmother’s generation, others were similar with our childhood memoir.

bunny and bear then went in, they search, they look around, hop and hoping to find a thing that brews their inspiration. then at a little corner in the retro room, they found a piece of old drawing of four-leaf clover. and then “BINGO”, their little brains start working … brewing a brand new concept for the little hut.

*according to Legends, a four-leaf clover  brings good luck to their finders,  especially if found accidentally. each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for luck.

with this little seed of inspiration, with some research of current marketing status, bunny and bear then came out with a interesting, fun, yet pretty common cup of tea…

hey ya… wondering why am i starting a new blog again… why… alright, the reason is pretty simple, i wanna keep it just for myself i guess, or for being out of the whole busy and stressful industry people out there.

well, really dunno what to say at this moment. it seems pretty late, lougong is sleeping now, ya he has to wake up early to bring Chanel, our Golden Retriever out for her morning walk every morning, that’s why he sleeps so early, ha! and i guess he’ll be long life than i am :p

life has been pretty lazy for me at the moment. we are closing Gardens’ consignment, well, because it hasn’t been doing what we expected and targeted for the past 6months, it is very distressing though, having closed up one of your “baby”. well, but if it’s not reaching my goal, it is better to let it go. even though Gardens is a pretty posh place in KL as i would say. and well, nice to see but hard to reach as most of the boutiques are “POSH” label. yea… how many M’sian can afford a 1k bag each month? i meant majority of people out there…

and well, lets just hope our country gets well soon. if a country gets sick, the whole economic status will drop and drop and drop… look at our country now, i only wish that those big boys stop their little games, and hey, look at us, the whole working people who try our “die hard” best to help develop a place we called home… well, i used to be so proud of being M’sian… but not now! well, only pray for a better tomorrow.

anyway, be optimistic, i believe there will always a rainbow after a storm… let’s have a great night sleep and wake up with a big smile, you’ll have a brighter and joyous day after all.
